Participants at Country Classic Auction have been supporting mental health at LHSC for the last 5 years. Donors that have supported the make-a-difference appeal through CCA have helped the program reach a defining moment: the First Episode Mood & Anxiety Program (FEMAP) is officially expanding.
Meanwhile, youth struggling with mental illness are reaching out for help in even higher volumes. The growing waitlist needs to be addressed in now to avoid heartbreaking and devastating outcomes or consequences.
One thing is certain, we can't make them wait.
On Thursday, November 5 at 8:00 p.m., via CCA@home, you can help make a difference to sustain the expanded program over the next five years.

ABOUT FEMAP
The First Episode Mood & Anxiety Program is the only program of its kind with a proven and safe format designed to provide an ecosystem of support for youth with emotional concerns that fall into the categories of mood and/or anxiety symptoms.
Expanding the program means doubling services to address the waiting list and providing new/more services for current and future patients that are reaching out for help when they are most vulnerable.
