SUPPORT PROSTATE CANCER CARE & RESEARCH

In North America, prostate cancer has become the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men. It is responsible for 4,300 deaths each year in Canada alone and is the second-leading cause of cancer death in American men. Receiving a diagnosis can be devastating to both the patient and their family, but they don’t have to do it alone. With lack of funding and limited access to experimental treatments preventing many Canadians from overcoming this disease, you can make a difference.

THE POWER OF PREPARATION: DARREN ROSS'S STORY

Darren Ross was looking forward to a vacation in Amsterdam he had booked for his 50th birthday. What he didn’t expect was the cancer diagnosis he received just days before his trip.

By supporting cancer research, our donors are helping patients like Darren confront their diagnosis with dignity and confidence. When you choose to care, anything is possible.

TRANSLATIONAL PROSTATE CANCER RESEARCH GROUP

Education and research are the keys to success in the diagnosis and treatment of prostate disease. London Ontario's medical community is a national leader in research with many physicians who specialize in the management of prostate cancer.

The London Health Sciences Centre's Translational Prostate Cancer Research Group’s purpose is to foster an environment where fundamental cancer researchers, surgeons, and clinical researchers work together. As a team, the group can quickly transfer research discoveries from the "bench to the bedside" and make real advances in prostate cancer control.
