In Memory of Jenn

Jennifer is my wife, the mother to our beautiful daughter, daughter to wonderful parents, loving sister to her siblings.  She is a friend to many.  She was a coworker to those at Victoria Hospital in London.  Working with her friends at the Health Care Credit Union for the past 16 years, she had many, many friends that called the Hospital their home.

She was also a patient of Victoria Hospital during her battle with cancer, one she fought so very hard, but ultimately lost to this past January 20th.

She was a recipient of the Gene Goodreau Patient Assistance Fund.  It is because I know Jenn would want to somehow payback so others that may need the assistance of this wonderful fund, can do so during their darkest hours, that I am providing this tribute to an incredible woman, a beautiful wife, the most caring of mothers, the bubbliest of friends - she is so much to so many, she will truly be missed forever.

Gene Goodreau Patient Assistance Fund

Cancer treatment can bring with it many unexpected expenses from medications to travel. These expenses may create a significant burden for some people, even to the point where people may not receive the recommended treatments. To alleviate some of these burdens the Gene Goodreau Patient Assistance Fund was established at the London Health Sciences Foundation in support of patients at London Regional Cancer Program (LRCP).

This fund offers patients financial support for items such as wigs, prostheses, mastectomy bras, respite card, childcare during treatment, parking, drugs and much more.
