FUNDRAISING TIPS

MATCHING GIFTS: Leverage the power of your workplace. Many companies offer matching donations. Tell your employer you're participating and encourage them to match the funds you raise.

BE SOCIAL: Share a link to your fundraising page on social media and tell EVERYONE why you are participating. Share it often on Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. 

LOOK LOCAL: Reach out to local businesses that you regularly support like hairdressers, doctors, dentists, real estate agents, financial advisors and insurance brokers. Often they are more than happy to support their clientele.

DONATIONS

All funds raised from the London Run for Ovarian Cancer support the Translational Ovarian Cancer Research Unit (TOCRU) at London Health Sciences Centre. Once you register, you will have access to a Participant Centre where you can ask for and track donations and thank donors who have supported you. You will receive a link in your registration confirmation email to access your Participant Centre. Be sure to utilize your Participant Centre as much as possible. Fundraising is essential to the success of this event. Over the last 23 years, we have raised $3.1 million and have funded some groundbreaking research at the TOCRU. Take a look at what donations have supported in the past.

We strongly recommend that you collect donations online. If you need to accept donations by cheque or cash, use this pledge form to keep track of all of your donor information. Donations made online will be issued tax receipts in the name of the credit cardholder. This is per CRA Regulations and cannot be edited. To submit donations collected in person, mail in your completed pledge form with a cheque (no cash please) to:
