For the 2022 London Run for Ovarian Cancer, you will have a choice of registering for the in person event at Springbank Park* or virtually. The registration fee is the same for both - a $25 donation. Which gives you an awesome start on your fundraising!
Be sure to let us know if you are an ovarian cancer survivor when you register. All survivors will get a special teal scarf.
* We are committed to your safety and, as such, will follow all applicable public health guidelines at the time of the event.
LOCATION & PARKING
Springbank Gardens is accessible from Wonderland Road north of Springbank Drive. The parking lot at the run site is reserved for ovarian cancer survivors and people with mobility limitations attending the event. Participants and volunteers must park elsewhere. Early parking is available at the Canoe Club lot on the west side of the Guy Lombardo bridge. Additional parking is available in Springbank Park or in Greenway Park: take Greenside Avenue off Springbank Drive, 1.5 km or 4 traffic lights east of Wonderland Road, then park in the lot closest to Wonderland Road and have a short, pleasant walk on a pathway under Wonderland Road to Springbank Gardens.
All funds raised from the London Run for Ovarian Cancer support the Translational Ovarian Cancer Research Unit (TOCRU) at London Health Sciences Centre. Once you register, you will have access to a Participant Centre where you can ask for and track donations as well as thank donors who have supported you. You will receive a link in your registration confirmation email to access your Participant Centre. Be sure to utilize your Participant Centre as much as possible. And if you have any questions, contact us.
Fundraising is essential to the success of this event. Over the last 19 years, we have raised $2.5 million dollars and have funded some groundbreaking research at the TOCRU. For more information on what donations have supported in the past.
Last year, the event raised over $160,000. To inspire participants to raise funds, we had lots of great prizes including masks, t-shirts, swag bags and access to a virtual tour of the ovarian cancer research labs at LHSC. We are working on some amazing prizes for 2022, so stay tuned!
We want to reward you for all your hard work so have put together some fundraising prizes. Raise the following amounts by May 31, 2022 to be eligible for great prizes:
$150 - $249.99, you will receive a Run for Ovarian Cancer toque
$250 - $349.99, you will receive the above PLUS a Run for Ovarian Cancer t-shirt
$350 - $499.99, you will receive the above PLUS a Run for Ovarian Cancer swag bag
$500 or more, you will receive the above PLUS an invite for a virtual tour of the Translational Ovarian Cancer Research Unit at London Health Sciences Centre.
We strongly recommend that you collect donations online. If you need to accept donations by cheque or cash, use this pledge form to keep track all of your donor information. Donations made online will be issued tax receipts in the name of the credit cardholder. This is per CRA Regulations and cannot be edited. To submit donations collected in person, mail in your completed pledge form with a cheque (no cash please) to:

If you would like to add donations to your credit card on behalf of other people, please call 519-685-8711 or email us. To ensure the receipt is made out to the correct person, these will be processed over the phone.
- Matching Gifts: leverage the power of your workplace. Many companies offer matching donations. Tell your employer you're participating and encourage them to match the funds you raise
- Share on social: Share a link to your fundraising page on social media and tell EVERYONE why you are participating. Share it often. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
- Look local: Reach out to local businesses that you regularly support. Often they are more than happy to support their clientele. (hair dressers, doctors, dentists, real estate agents, financial advisors, insurance brokers, etc.)
